  • Try to win back your losses
  • Miss important things like family time, work, leisure activities or appointments because of gambling
  • Think about gambling every day
  • Have arguments with friends and family about your gambling
  • Lie or steal to get money for gambling
  • Get into debt because of gambling

Recognising that you may be developing a gambling problem is the first step to regaining control.


  • Gambling should be entertaining and not be seen as a means of making money
  • Only gamble what you can afford to lose
  • Avoid chasing losses
  • Keep track of the amount of time and funds you are dedicating to gambling

Self Exclusion (Temporary or Permanent)

Self Exclusion (to stop betting or gambling for a set time) can help in reduce your opportunities to gamble. If you need a break from gambling, you can opt to self-exclude from our services for 1 day, 7 days or 30 days days. Our customer service team can also assist you and provide assistance should you elect to self-exclude your account.

To apply a self-exclusion on your account:
  • Log on to your BlueBet account
  • Select My Details
  • Under Take a Break select the duration you wish to exclude from your BlueBet account
  • Confirm you understand, enter your password and select Take a Break
  • Our team can also aid should you elect to close your BlueBet account. You can either email on or call 1800 797 644.

We encourage you to contact other Wagering sites you may have accounts with when you elect to self-exclude. BlueBet will only act on Self Exclusion addressed to BlueBet and cannot apply Self Exclusion relating to any other Wagering site to us.

We recommend removing any Gambling related apps you may have downloaded to any of your devises once you have applied a self-exclusion to your account.
